Skynet has in fact completed Sentient, a sprawling album that's set to confirm that, while he has been in the States working on a plethora of music outside of the Drum & Bass scene (including his forays into Dubstep, as well as production on various Hip-Hop & Pop records), he has not lost that Audio Blueprint/Underfire sound that his fans know him for (think Clockwork-era Stakka & Skynet). While the final confirmation in terms of tracklist is not set, we do know that this will be available in a double CD format, with unmixed tracks alongside a special mix. This debut album is the accumulation of 105 hours a a week over a nine month period of solid work, and features an array of artists: Dom & Roland, Chuck Treese (Bad Brains, The Roots, Scott Storch), Aarron Fishbein (Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Scott Storch), Ben Peeler (Shakira, The Wallflowers, Lisa Loeb) and Kam Houff (Scott Storch's engineer, and #1 songwriter for Mario's ''Let Me Love You''). Don't let those affiliations fool you, though: their contributions might bring in lush vocals or instrumentation to the project, but this is a pure neuro DnB workout, focusing on intense bass and sharp beats mixed with that signature Skynet sound; this is one for the record books!
