Spirit / Inneractive News - Sept '09

[Inneractive Music]

INNA 029, 'Splinter/Trident' finally hits stores on both vinyl and digital formats from Monday, Septemeber 14th. Vinyl copies should be available to pre-order from most good online stores as of now. Digital formats will be available from our own online store , as well as Beatport, Itunes, Juno Download and the usual suspects.

The first in a short series of releases featuring label head and founder Spirit pairing up with a new signing sees Jubei, Sato & Treez joining the fold with ‘Trident’, a mean and moody, dubbed-out roller speckled with echoing vocal licks, growling stabs and deep, pulsating subs. Championed by the likes of Marcus Intalex, Raiden, Survival, Phobia and a host of others, these guys are one to watch having between them scheduled releases for the likes of Metalheadz, Creative Source, Coded Music, Ingredients and CIA Deepkut.

Spirit needs no introduction and ‘Splinter’ has been on heavy rotation from the likes of Goldie, C4C, Storm, Bailey and Raiden, having already featured on DJ Friction’s recently released ‘Assassin Volume 1’ mix CD.

INNA 030 will follow shortly, coupling Spirit's 'Smashed' with 'Soya Sushi' from one of the Netherland's hottest production outfits, June Miller. More info soon.

Spirit is currently working on his second album and you'll be able to follow it's progress exclusively at the Inneractive Music soundcloud.

Spirit will also be back in Europe at the end of October/early november and is now available for bookings. Contact [email protected] for further information.

Finally, there's only two days left to register at the Inneractive Forum and enter the remix competition, where you can vote for one of five Spirit tracks to rework. Voting closes on Friday, 11th September so get your skates on!
