* The Air Motion mid hi element of this system comprises of three transducers which are loaded by isometric conical horns. For a long time designers have known about the excellent inherent sound quality of the conical horn. Its propagation is based on the spheroid section and allows for solid radiation angles. The benefits are two fold: tight beam width control is possible, giving higher output and a more defined sound due to a decrease in early reflections; and constant beam width directivity is possible across the entire horns dispersion, giving a well balanced and uniform output.
Airten is the latest development in the highly acclaimed Air Series. Advanced technologies have been employed to create a system capable of ground breaking output levels and extremely low colouration. The total elimination of enclosure resonances has been achieved though the use of super strong composite materials like Kevlar and carbon fiber. The combination of these new construction materials has lead to a massive reduction of distortion and colouration. Airten also employs ‘intake protection’ to accurately control and limit the systems excursion. This unique protection circuit is housed within the enclosure and requires no additional outboard processing or powering. The increased headroom available by monitoring the components at source has produced a system capable of output levels normally associated with enclosures over twice the size of Airten.
The Stasys 8 is a dual 18" horn loaded enclosure designed for large field applications. The design incorporates unique manifold technology to give low frequency extension whilst maintaining accurate and precise response. This enclosure is designed to be used in conjunction with the Stasys 3 or any other high quality mid hi enclosure. The unique construction of the Stasys 8 makes use of extensive internal bracing to keep panel resonances to a minimum. It is this and the careful selection of the transducers that provide the accurate, detailed and natural reproduction qualities for which the Stasys series has become known
